Online Neuro Assessment and Consultation
Get a clear picture of your cognitive strengths and areas of difficulty, with the opportunity to discuss your results directly with a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.
Your assessment is completed online at home and is personally selected, reviewed and interpreted by a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist. You will receive your full results together with a straightforward, written report explaining what they mean and what your next steps might be.
The assessment can help identify difficulties in areas such as memory, attention, processing speed and executive functioning. It can provide useful objective information where you have concerns about changes in your cognition, and the report can be shared with your GP or other healthcare professional if you wish.
What happens after you book?
After your purchase, we will email you a secure link to complete a pre-assessment questionnaire.
A Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist will review the information you provide and select the most appropriate assessment tests for your circumstances. We aim to send your personalised assessment instructions within two working days of receiving your completed questionnaire.
You then complete the assessment online using a desktop or laptop computer. Once your testing is complete, your results are reviewed and interpreted by the neuropsychologist and we aim to send your written report within seven days.
Your consultation
After receiving your report, you will also have a private one-hour online consultation with your Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.
This gives you the opportunity to:
- discuss your results in more detail;
- ask questions about anything in your report;
- talk through areas of concern;
- better understand the significance of any strengths or difficulties identified; and
- discuss appropriate next steps.
The consultation takes place by video call and must normally take place within 28 days of your report being issued.
What will I receive?
You will receive:
- your full cognitive assessment results;
- a written report explaining your results in straightforward language;
- an overview of areas of relative cognitive strength and difficulty;
- recommendations or suggested next steps where appropriate; and
- a one-hour individual consultation with your Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.
neuroconsult.co.uk assessments do not, by themselves, provide a medical diagnosis. They can, however, provide objective information about your cognitive functioning which may help you and your healthcare professionals decide whether any further assessment or investigation would be useful.
Important Information
The person purchasing the assessment must be aged 18 or over.
The person being assessed must normally live in the UK and be aged between 16 and 89.
You will need access to a desktop or laptop computer with a working keyboard, a reliable internet connection and a quiet environment where you will not be distracted. You should be able to see the screen clearly.
Once your personalised assessment has been generated, the testing link remains valid for seven days. If the link expires because the assessment has not been completed within that period, a new testing package may need to be generated and the current £40 reissue fee will apply.
Your consultation must normally take place within 28 days of your report being issued. If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give at least one Working Day’s notice. Missed appointments and appointments cancelled at shorter notice may be forfeited. Full details are set out in our Service Terms and Conditions.
This is a clinical neuropsychological assessment for personal and healthcare use. It is not a medico-legal or expert-witness assessment and is not intended for use as expert evidence in legal proceedings.
